About Me
I was born in Germany to a German mother and a British father and grew up in Vienna, Austria before moving to the Netherlands where I attended secondary school. For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about film and creative media, so when it became time to study I moved to London to pursue a career in the industry.
In 2015 I graduated from the SAE Institute London with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts in digital film making. While I was studying, I mainly focused on cinematography and editing, but I would also regularly experiment with graphic design and animation on the side as these fields always fascinated me. Eventually, this blend of skills brought me into motion graphics and led me to founding Thomas Films in 2014 while I was studying.
Since then I have been working freelance, primarily creating explainer videos for a range of corporate clients, while also working on a variety of private projects to further hone my skills. Additionally, the fact that I am a trilingual native speaker of English, German and Dutch has allowed me to work on a number of translation/localization projects as well.
Whilst I always welcome new and exciting opportunities and challenges, regardless of the type of project, I also enjoy working with other creatives on more narrative pieces. My dream job would be creating fictional user interfaces and display graphics for science fiction film or TV.
